Submission of climate stories for Mga Kwento ng Klima (MKK) 2023 will open this month!
The Oscar M. Lopez Center invites all independent and professional Filipino filmmakers to join the MKK 2023 set to be launched in time for Earth Day.
The MKK is a mobile climate filmmaking competition that aims to generate climate stories told from the local context, highlighting unique climate realities and notions of resilience, in local languages.
Up to ten film entries will have a chance to win Best Film award and take home a tax-free cash prize of Php 50,000.
Complete competition details, mechanics, and film submission requirements will be released during the official launch of the MKK 2023. Stay tuned by following the social media channels of the OML Center.
