The Climate Change Commission, in partnership with the Oscar M. Lopez Center, brings you Kaalamang Klima, a knowledge session to deepen the understanding and appreciation of the youth on climate science and climate impacts. The webinar will be held via Zoom and streamed on Facebook Live on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, 9 am.
The session also sets the stage for the second edition Klima Film Festival this year, which targets to mainstream the effects of climate change through films written and produced by the Filipino youth.
Kaalamang Klima introduces the basics of climate change, its main drivers, projections for the Philippines in climate impacts on natural and human systems, and how it renders us vulnerable.
