The Climate Reality Project Philippines’ Manila Bulletin column ‘Eleventh Hour’ featured DanTAOn, an online platform that aims to humanize the impacts of disasters and move people and nations to action.

The platform seeks to present the narratives of people directly affected by climate change, and to visualize climate impacts using geographic information system (GIS) maps of sea level rise projects from Climate Central.

Team DanTAOn is composed of Arch. Arlene Christy Lusterio, Isabelle Therese Baguisi, Jolly Anne Gibe, Min-Roselle Malunhao, and Ma. Theresa Amor Tan Singco. The team is one of the recipients of the Umalohokan Grants under the OML Center’s Balangay Media Project.

The Climate Reality Project Philippines is a media partner of the 2021 Balangay Media Project. Read the article “Linking climate data and stories to amplify the voice of at-risk communities on the Manila Bulletin website.
