The Climate Reality Project Philippines’ Manila Bulletin column “Eleventh Hour” featured a summary of key highlights of the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) Working Group 2 (WG2). Launched on 28 February, the IPCC AR6 WG2 focuses on and assesses the impacts, adaptation and vulnerabilities related to climate change.
The article, contributed by Marianna Vargas-Morada, summarizes the recommendations in the report, particularly on how to move towards a more solutions-based framework of climate resilient development, which considers the interdependence and interactions between climate, ecosystems, and human systems.
