The term “sustainability” has become more and more widely used with the increasing calls toward climate action. But what does being “sustainable” actually mean and how can it be put into practice?

In an episode of Teka Teka News, OML Center’s Alfi Lorenz Cura explains that “sustainability is doing our best to lessen waste, energy consumption, and carbon emissions so that our future generations will also enjoy our natural resources.”

He also shared activities that can help make our daily routines more sustainable. Some of these include shifting to LED bulbs, reducing water usage by taking shorter showers, growing our own food, and unplugging electronic devices when not in use.
