The IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (AR6) outlines the overwhelming evidence that climate change threatens human well-being and the health of our planet. In addition, the international panel of scientists involved in the report concludes that any further delay in concerted action will close the window in securing a livable future.
In an article published by ABS-CBN News on March 19, 2022, OML Center’s Dr. Rodel Lasco and Ayn G. Torres summarize key implications of the IPCC’s Climate Change 2022: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability to the Philippines.
Dr. Lasco is the coordinating lead author of the IPCC AR6 Working Group 2 report’s Chapter 5 on food, fiber, and other ecosystem products, and a drafting author of the Summary for Policymakers.
