Has the pandemic inspired you to come up with innovative, interdisciplinary and solution-oriented ideas to build your community’s resilience? Take on the challenge!

The OML Center’s Climate Resilience Challenge is a competition aiming to surface innovative interdisciplinary and solution-oriented ideas to build and enhance resilience in the Philippines. It is open to any number of individual researchers, departments, and centers or groups within a university, provided that participants are legal residents of the Philippines.

We’re looking for ideas that will focus on transformative national, or provincial or local strategies that Private Sector Actors can take on to address the climate risks of a vulnerable sector or community.

Solutions must address challenges in the following priority areas:

  • Food and Water Security,
  • Livelihood and Essential services
  • Climate Health Systems

Submissions will be screened for eligibility. The most impactful solutions will receive cash prizes and will present their solutions to the public.
