As part of the Lopez Group’s celebration of Environment Month, the Lopez Synergy Summit (LSS) Education Cluster conducted a two-day science mentoring in Lobo, Batangas, entitled ‘CreativiTEACH: Encouraging Creativity and Growth Mindset in the Classroom.’
The Cluster comprises representatives from the Knowledge Channel, ABS-CBN Foundation, First Gen, and the Oscar M. Lopez Center.
The science mentoring session, attended by teachers from various elementary and high schools in Lobo, was divided into two parts: Classroom Observation and Post-Conferencing on June 9 and the Creativity and Growth Mindset Workshop on June 10.
Dr. Alfons Pelgone, Faculty at the Philippine Normal University, and Ms. Sue Saavedra, School and Community Engagement Officer at Knowledge Channel, served as speakers at the activity.

CreativiTEACH is part of the LSS Education Cluster’s ongoing effort to have its member organizations collaborate on and integrate in educational advocacies.
Dr. Julita Ilagan, Lobo Public Schools District Supervisor, joined teachers and school administrators from Balatbat Elementary School, Lagadlarin-Olo-Olo Elementary School, Mabilog na Bundok Elementary School, Malabrigo Elementary School, Malabrigo National High School, Masaguitsit Elementary School, and Sawang Elementary School in the mentoring session.
