The main objective of the national conference is to strengthen the role of INREM in Sustainable Development with specific objectives of: 1) bringing together INREM stakeholders in the country and facilitate sharing of ideas; 2) synthesizing knowledge about INREM-related initiatives on lake and river basins, landscapes and seascapes, small islands, and rural-urban areas; 3) establishing a network among INREM stakeholders in the country; and 4) developing an INREM RDE agenda for the country.

The target participants of the conference are SUCs, government agencies, research institutions, LGUs, and civil society.
