The Oscar M. Lopez Center will be joining the 2025 League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Expo and Conference, happening in the first week of July with the theme, “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity for Shared Prosperity.”
Held annually in celebration of CSR Week, the LCF CSR Expo and Conference brings together corporations, non-profits, foundations, and thought leaders who are driving positive change in the country. This year, the event aims to challenge businesses and organizations to go beyond traditional practices and reimagine how prosperity can be shared across all sectors of the society, given the adverse effects of climate change and other global challenges.
The LCF Conference will run from July 1–3 at Dusit Thani Manila Hotel, while the CSR Expo will take place on July 1–2 at the Glorietta Activity Center, both in Makati City.
OML Center’s Knowledge Production Manager, Alfi Lorenz Cura, with Deaf leader Carolyn Dagani, will be conducting a session at the CSR Expo e on July 2, from 10:15 to 11:00 am, titled, “From Misconception to Meaningful Inclusion: Co-Producing with the Deaf Community”, sharing the Center’s experience in working with and for the Deaf through the Center’s Signs for Inclusive Governance and Development or Project SIGND. Filipino sign language interpreters will be available during the session.
At the Expo, the OML Center will be having an interactive activity highlighting the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in early warning and disaster response. The Center’s booth will also feature some of its key initiatives aimed at bridging climate knowledge to action.
Apart from the OML Center, other Lopez Group organizations such as the Lopez Group Foundation Inc., ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc., Ang Misyon, Inc., FPIP Kabuhayan, Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc., and the Energy Development Corporation, will also participate in the Expo to share the Group’s initiatives in pursuit of sustainability, quality education, and community development.
