The OML Center participated in a focus group discussion on “Strategies for Private Sector Participation in the Implementation of the National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP)” last 29 September 2014 at the University of the Philippines Diliman National College of Public Administration and Governance in (NCPAG). The event was organized by the NCPAG in association with the Philippine Climate Change Commission (CCC) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

The event brought together members of the private sector along with the government, academe and civil society to discuss and share their experiences and thoughts on the role of the private sector in climate change adaptation and mitigation (CCAM). The results of the discussion will be used to form a strategy paper that will help inform the private sector of the key areas wherein they can contribute in the execution of the NCCAP.
