Banaguas, of De La Salle Araneta University and one of the project leaders of The OML Center (NP2013-02: Impact and Risk Analyses of Climate Variability on Food and Environmental Security in Tarlac Province) is a recipient of the National Academy of Science and Technologyin the Philippines (NAST Phil) 2014 OUTSTANDING YOUNG SCIENTIST (OYS) AWARDS in the field of Environmental Management.
