We’ve experienced record-breaking heat across the country these past few weeks, leading to multiple class suspensions in various regions. The country’s highest heat index (temperature felt by the human body based on the actual measured air temperature and humidity level) so far reached a scorching 53°C in Iba, Zambales on April 28 which the country’s weather bureau classified as ‘extremely dangerous.’
